Weekly Reporter Season Opener for Porsche Driver Daniel Gregor from Maikammer

Right on time for the anniversary year '50 years of motorsport with the Bernhard family', 19-year-old Daniel Gregor from Maikammer is the figurehead in this regard.
Since the age of 13, the Palatinate native has been starting in karting in the colors of Junior Team75. Via the Touring Car Junior Cup, he worked his way up to the GT4 sport, where he was successful in the DTM Trophy and the ADAC GT4 Germany, among other things. After a one-year interlude in the Porsche Carrera Cup Italy, he is driving the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup from Team75 Motorsport in the Porsche Sixt Carrera Cup Germany this year. Daniel has thus successfully completed all stages from karting to the top class as the first protagonist in 'his' Team75.
Daniel Gregor is the first, but with great certainty not the last motorsport talent, to whom Team75 Motorsport has enabled the rise from karting to the top program of the team from Landstuhl. Because promoting young talent has a very high priority for team owner Timo Bernhard. Not least because the later two-time long-distance world champion, two-time Le Mans overall winner, long-time Porsche factory driver, and current brand ambassador of Zuffenhausen has experienced firsthand how important it is for up-and-coming talents to receive help and support on their way up the career ladder.
At the age of 16, Daniel Gregor started with a Porsche Cayman GT4 in the DTM Trophy 2022 as part of the DTM races. In 2023, he started for the W & S team in a Porsche Cup GT3 at the ADAC GT4 Germany. The previous year, Daniel Gregor participated in the Porsche Carrera Cup Italia in Italy.
This weekend, the season opener will take place in Imola, Italy, as part of the Endurance World Championship program.
Daniel Gregor has prepared well for the new season. 'In the winter, I was twice in Portimao, Portugal, for testing. In March, we had a test day on the Hockenheimring, and at the end of March, I was able to test for two days in Imola, where the season opener is now taking place. Last week, we also tested in Spa-Francorchamps, Belgium.'
